End user licence agreement

Licence granted

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use PDF Suite on the number of computers stated in your purchase, for your own personal or internal business purposes. The software is licensed, not sold, and we retain all intellectual property rights in it.

Permitted use

You may make one backup copy of the installer, reinstall the software on the same computer as often as needed, and move the licence to a replacement computer after deactivating the previous installation.

Restrictions

You may not rent, lease, sublicense, resell or share your serial number, remove or bypass activation, reverse engineer or decompile the software except where the law expressly allows it, or use the software to modify documents you are not authorised to modify.

Updates and support

Maintenance updates for the version you purchased are included at no extra cost. A future major version may require a paid upgrade. Support is provided as described on our help page.

Warranty

We warrant that the software will substantially perform as described in its documentation. If it does not, contact support and we will repair it or refund the licence fee. Beyond that, the software is provided without further warranties to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. Keep your own backups of important documents before editing them.

Termination and governing law

This licence ends if you materially breach these terms, in which case you must uninstall the software. The agreement is governed by the laws applicable at our place of business, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your own country.
